Does a stuck Action interrupt the entire queue?
Not necessarily. The timeout is isolated to the current page. After safe recovery, the page is marked PHOTOSHOP_ACTION_TIMEOUT and execution continues. If Photoshop state cannot be validated, the queue pauses to avoid corrupting the next execution.
Do I need to leave Photoshop?
No. Photoshop remains the creative tool and Action executor. AlbumX organizes and drives production. Photoshop must be installed and licensed separately.
Can I use my own Actions?
Yes, provided they are adapted to the AlbumX protocol and checked in the catalog/preflight. Compatibility with every Action is not automatic.
Are my photos uploaded to the cloud?
Photos, PSDs, Actions, projects and RenderPlans are not sent to the license server. The Commerce portal receives the data you provide in forms and orders; Desktop uses online communication for licensing.
What happens if the internet goes down?
With a valid local license, work can continue within the signed tolerance: 72 hours by default, with a license override. After the period, new processing is blocked, but opening and editing projects remains allowed. An authorized Action is not interrupted mid-run.
How many computers can I use?
Professional allows up to 2 devices and 1 concurrent operator. Enterprise allows up to 4 devices and 2 concurrent operators. Corporative includes up to 6 devices and 3 concurrent operators. Founder Lifetime includes up to 12 devices and 6 concurrent operators.
What is the difference between a device and an operator?
A device is an activated computer. A concurrent operator is a session in use at the same time. Activating several computers does not increase the concurrent session limit.
Is there an evaluation period?
You can request an evaluation in your workflow, without a card. Terms are confirmed by the team; there is no promise of immediate automatic release.
Does AlbumX modify my original photos?
Inspection and import read the originals. Processing prepares copies in the job’s technical area; review your Actions and use test copies in staging.
What is the Photoshop compatibility?
The current Desktop is Windows/WPF and uses COM/ExtendScript integration with Photoshop. Photoshop version and Actions must be validated in the evaluation workflow; universal support for versions not yet approved is not claimed.
What is included in deployment?
The format depends on the plan and approved commercial policy. Training, templates, workflow review, timelines and support must be confirmed in the proposal. This staging portal does not invent an SLA.
Can I change plans?
Contact the team to evaluate devices, operators and the conditions for a change. Timelines and billing adjustments must be confirmed in the proposal; plan changes are not automatic in staging.
What happens if I cancel?
The effects on renewal and access depend on the contract and approved policy. The cancellation page is a draft for review, not a promise of a refund or definitive deadline.
How does Photo Identification work?
You provide a folder with one named JPG reference photo per person, a folder with event photos, a separation folder and an unidentified folder. AlbumX analyzes locally, copies identified photos to subfolders named after the references and leaves low-confidence cases for manual separation.
Does Photo Identification alter my originals?
No. AlbumX reads the four folders and copies the results; it does not move, rename or delete original photos. The analysis can be reviewed before applying it.
Is external AI included?
External review is optional and intended for Corporative, Founder Lifetime and equivalent conditions. When approved and connected, it uses the customer’s chosen official API; token, credit and usage charges belong to the linked account.
